Grassi expands franchise accounting services with OnePoint acquisition

Grassi, one of the top 60 U.S. accounting firms, has acquired OnePoint Franchise Accounting in Colorado, extending its reach in franchise advisory and accounting. The acquisition adds a significant roster of restaurant and food franchise clients and strengthens the firm’s sector expertise.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. With the addition of OnePoint’s team, Grassi Franchise Services now includes over 100 professionals. The firm has been providing advisory, tax, and accounting services to U.S. franchises for more than 25 years, specialising in franchise selection, tax planning, monthly reporting, and exit strategies.

Two OnePoint partners, Laura Wright and Diana Mead, have joined Grassi. Wright will serve as franchise business development leader, while Mead will act as co-president alongside James Bohl. Both bring experience in managing franchise accounting services and leading multiunit operations.

Louis Grassi, CEO and managing partner, said the integration strengthens the service quality and technical expertise of both firms. He highlighted that the deal supports Grassi’s strategy to meet clients wherever they operate, providing specialised knowledge for complex franchise structures.

Founded in 1998, Denver-based OnePoint serves franchisees, franchisors, multiunit restaurant groups, and other sector businesses. The acquisition allows Grassi Franchise Services to support a broader range of ownership models, including large franchise rollups and private equity-backed groups, while establishing a presence in the Mountain West region.

Mead noted the acquisition will expand impact, deepen capabilities, and deliver services at greater scale and speed. The combined expertise of both firms enhances Grassi’s focus on highly personalised service and deep industry knowledge.

This follows Grassi’s earlier 2025 M&A activity, including the merger with Anstiss & Co., a Massachusetts-based CPA firm.
